Joseph Talleda
Over the course of a career spanning more than 40 years, pianist and collaborative artist Joseph Talleda has gathered wide-ranging experience including recital appearances, opera and musical theater productions, choral events, and much more. As accompanist for Civic Chorale of Greater Miami and Miami Collegium Musicum, he has assisted in the preparation of choral works by J. S. Bach, Brahms, Fauré, Handel, Mendelssohn, Orff, Schubert, and many other classical and popular composers. In the 2023-2024 season, he was privileged to serve as rehearsal accompanist for the internationally renowned vocal ensemble Seraphic Fire. Compositions by Dr. Talleda have been performed by Civic Chorale of Greater Miami and Anglican Chorale of Southeast Florida, and he regularly makes use of his own continuo realizations when performing music of the baroque era. Joseph Talleda is a life member of the honor societies of Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Theta Kappa, and Pi Kappa Lambda.
